The 2018 Peugeot 2008 (first-generation facelift, 2018 model year) is a compact crossover SUV built on the Peugeot 208 platform, offering a stylish and raised design with available LED lighting and alloy wheels. It features Peugeot’s small‑car “i‑Cockpit” interior layout with a compact steering wheel and elevated instrument display, with practical room for five passengers and a boot capacity of around 350–360 litres. Under the bonnet customers could choose between efficient petrol engines (1.2 L PureTech producing 82 hp, 110 hp or 130 hp) or diesel options (1.5 L BlueHDi with around 100 hp and 250 Nm, or a 1.6 L BlueHDi with 92–100 hp variants). Driving dynamics strike a balance between comfort and agility, aimed at urban and family use. Standard features include air‑conditioning, power windows, parking sensors on higher trims, optional dual‑zone climate control, mood lighting, navigation and emergency braking; safety is supported with ISOFIX mounts, airbags, traction control, stability program and hill‑start assist.
