2019 Mercedes-Benz C200

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz C200 marks the mid-cycle facelift for the W205 fourth-generation C-Class sedan. Visually updated with revised front bumpers, restyled LED High Performance headlights, and an updated diamond-pattern or multi-bar grille, the 2019 model introduced major mechanical and technological upgrades over its predecessors. Under the hood, the 2019 C200 introduced Mercedes' M264 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 petrol engine paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system (EQ Boost). The system produces 184 hp (135 kW) and 280 Nm of torque, with the belt-driven starter-generator contributing an additional temporary boost of 14 hp (10 kW) and 160 Nm during acceleration. Power is delivered to the rear wheels (or optional 4MATIC AWD) via a 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission. Inside, the facelift upgraded the tech suite with a 10.25-inch central display, an optional 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, touch-control buttons on the steering wheel, ambient lighting, and refined leather upholstery options.
