The 2019 CX-5 stands out with its wide mesh front grille, sleek LED headlights, long bonnet profile, and 17-inch to 19-inch dark-finish alloy wheels. Powering the vehicle is Mazda's 2.2-liter (2,191cc) Skyactiv-D Twin-Turbo 4-cylinder diesel engine. Depending on the market and trim level (such as XD, XD L Package, GT, or Sport Nav), output ranges from 150 hp (110 kW) and 380 Nm in lower specs up to 184–190 hp (135–140 kW) and 450 Nm of torque. This low-compression diesel engine uses twin sequential turbochargers to deliver massive low-end torque.
