The 2020 Land Rover Defender 110 P400 "Urban Kitted" (L663 series) is a bespoke street-focused conversion built by UK-based customizer Urban Automotive. Applying an "OEM Plus" design philosophy, the kit strips away the Defender’s raw plastic utility cladding, replacing it with handcrafted visual carbon fiber components, aggressive widebody proportions, and low-profile street-performance stance. Underneath the bespoke exterior, the vehicle retains its factory 3.0-liter Ingenium MHEV inline-6 petrol engine, featuring a twin-scroll turbocharger, 48V electric supercharger, and mild-hybrid system. Generating 395 hp (394 bhp / 294 kW) and 550 Nm of torque, it routes power through an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission and permanent AWD with a twin-speed transfer box. While maintaining its factory Electronic Air Suspension, the Urban conversion pairs the chassis with 22-inch or 23-inch Urban UV-forged alloy wheels and performance tires, trading extreme off-road articulation for sharper high-speed road manners and stance. Externally, the Urban Widetrack package equips the Defender with extended color-matched wheel arches, front bumper intake canards with integrated Nolden DRLs, a visual carbon fiber rear roof spoiler, "Best of British" hood and side fender vent kits, a carbon-housed high-power LED roof light pod, and a signature castellated Urban hard spare wheel cover. Inside, the cabin combines Land Rover's Pivi Pro infotainment system with optional Urban bespoke leather upholstery re-trims, milled aluminum pedals, and custom carbon fiber cabin overlays.
