2015 Land Rover Discovery IV

The Land Rover Discovery IV (L319 / LR4), produced from 2009 to 2016, is widely regarded as the ultimate evolution of Land Rover’s classic boxy silhouette. Bridging the gap between a rugged, go-anywhere expedition vehicle and an executive luxury cruiser, the Discovery IV introduced significant refinements over the Discovery 3, including Range Rover-grade interior materials, a completely redesigned front fascia, and improved road manners. Built on Land Rover’s innovative Integrated Body Frame (IBF)—which combines a stiff unibody monocoque with a heavy-duty ladder-frame chassis—it remains an iconic, highly versatile 7-seater luxury SUV. On the outside, the Discovery IV maintains its signature stepped-roof silhouette, large glass windows, and asymmetric split rear tailgate. Up front, the design was modernized with a twin-bar mesh grille, jewel-like LED daytime running headlamps, body-colored wheel arches, and restyled LED tail lamps. Riding on standard 19-inch or optional 20-inch alloy wheels, its upright stance provides excellent outward visibility for both urban driving and technical off-roading. Its height-adjustable electronic cross-linked air suspension allows the vehicle to lower for easy cabin entry or raise up to deliver an outstanding 310mm of ground clearance and a 700mm water wading depth.
