The 2019 Toyota Corolla Fielder Hybrid (NKE165G series) is a Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) station wagon tailored for high fuel efficiency, urban utility, and low ownership costs. Positioned as a practical compact estate, the late 160-series Fielder underwent a facelift featuring a revised front bumper, streamlined upper grille, auto-folding mirrors, and standard Toyota Safety Sense C driver-assist hardware across all grades. Under the bonnet, the Fielder Hybrid pairs a 1.5-liter 1NZ-FXE Atkinson-cycle 4-cylinder petrol engine with a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor driven by a nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) battery pack.
