The 2025 Hilux Travo represents a complete reinvention of the world's most famous workhorse. It moves away from the traditional "utilitarian" pickup look toward a more aggressive, technical aesthetic featuring slim LED headlamps, a hexagonal-pattern grille, and a wider, more stable stance. The most significant changes are found in the cabin, which has been redesigned to rival luxury SUVs. It now features a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a matching 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. For the first time, the Hilux includes a "V-Active" 48V mild-hybrid system on certain trims to improve fuel efficiency and provide smoother low-speed acceleration, making it much more refined for urban driving.
