The 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado TZ-G Diesel (GDJ151W chassis) is the flagship, top-of-the-line trim of the 150-Series facelift range. Combining heavy-duty, body-on-frame off-road engineering with executive-tier luxury, the TZ-G sits above the TX and TX-L grades. For late 2020, Toyota introduced a major mid-cycle mechanical update to the 2.8-liter 1GD-FTV inline-4 turbocharged diesel engine. Featuring a larger turbocharger and upgraded rigid cylinder blocks, power jumped to 204 PS (201 hp / 150 kW) and 500 Nm of torque (up from 177 hp / 450 Nm in earlier 150-Series models). Matched with a 6-speed Super ECT automatic transmission and full-time 4WD, the TZ-G exclusively gains high-end dynamic chassis upgrades including Rear Adaptive Variable Air Suspension (AVS), Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS), and Multi-Terrain Select / Crawl Control. The interior is a 7-seat layout featuring perforated leather seats with heating and ventilation, electrically folding 3rd-row seats, a sunroof, wood-grain interior accents, and updated MFD infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.
