2018 Mitsubishi Pajero

The 2019 Mitsubishi Pajero (V90 Fourth Generation) is a full-size, 7-seater heavy-duty SUV celebrated for its Dakar Rally-proven endurance, rugged boxy styling, and extreme off-road capability. Known globally as the Pajero, Montero, or Shogun, the 2018 model retains its iconic upright stance, highlighted by a prominent chrome front grille, tailgate-mounted spare wheel, high ground clearance (225mm), and a high-rigidity monocoque chassis with an embedded ladder frame. Under the bonnet, the 2018 Pajero is primarily powered by a 3.2-liter (3,200cc) 4M41 common-rail turbo-diesel 4-cylinder engine delivering 190 PS (187 hp / 141 kW) and 441 Nm of torque, as well as available 3.0-liter (177 hp) and 3.8-liter (250 hp) V6 petrol engines depending on the market. Power is sent through a heavy-duty 5-speed INVECS-II automatic transmission paired with Mitsubishi's renowned Super Select II 4WD system. This allows drivers to shift on-the-fly between fuel-saving 2WD (2H) and full-time 4WD (4H) at speeds up to 100 km/h, as well as locked center differential high (4HLc) and low-range crawler gears (4LLc) with an optional rear differential lock for extreme conditions.
