2019 Ford Ranger Raptor

The 2019 Ford Ranger Raptor is a performance-focused mid-size double-cab pickup engineered by Ford Performance. Built to bridge high-speed off-road capabilities with daily drivability, the Ranger Raptor features a heavily re-engineered high-strength steel chassis, a 150mm wider track, 283mm of ground clearance, and position-sensitive Fox 2.5-inch Internal Bypass shock absorbers paired with a rear Watt's linkage coil-spring setup. Powering the international-spec 2019 Raptor is a 2.0-liter EcoBlue Bi-Turbo inline-4 diesel engine generating 213 PS (210 hp / 157 kW) and 500 Nm of torque. The sequential twin-turbo system utilizes a small high-pressure turbo for low-RPM response and a larger low-pressure turbo for top-end boost. Power is delivered through a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission to a part-time 4WD system with a terrain management system (TMS) offering six drive modes, including Baja Mode for high-speed desert running. Inside, the cabin features Ford Performance bucket seats upholstered in technical suede and leather, blue stitching, a leather steering wheel with a red center marker, magnesium paddle shifters, and an 8.0-inch SYNC 3 touchscreen display.
